The member referred information related to the Department of Education for funding the expansion of the Queensland Pathways State College. The member noted that the matters included allegations of nepotism, political interference, conflicts of interest and maladministration.

We responded to the member on 26 September 2024.
We noted that the member had informed Parliament, on 21 August 2024, that he had referred this information to both the Queensland Audit Office and the Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC).
We advised the member that we had assessed the information he provided and that we considered the CCC is the more appropriate agency to assess concerns of this nature.
